From new team appointments, new clients and geographical growth, to exceptional project work and the continuation of our sponsorship of local youth talent. It’s been a busy start to the year, and we thank our clients for making this possible.
We wanted to share this with you so here's a snapshot of our year so far.
Team Expansion
Ewan Martin joined us in September last year as Wells and Business Development Advisor. Ewan has over 17 years’ experience in well management and is well known to the team having been employed by Martin for his first role in the oil and gas industry back in 2006. In his role Ewan provides technical support to the wider engineering team combined with overseeing Zenith’s business development.
We also welcomed Trevor Crichton as Senior Recruitment Consultant. Trevor joins the Zenith Energy Team with fifteen years of recruitment experience as we currently recruit for several of our key global projects with positions available in Aberdeen, Australia and the UAE. With over a decade of oil and gas sector experience, specifically drilling and well services, he is ideally placed to ensure we recruit the best-fit personnel for our global projects. Another key addition to the Aberdeen office, Kay Morrice has joined as Accounts Assistant supporting Finance Manager Jeff Clark. Kay has worked in finance and accountancy roles for over 15 years and brings a wealth of experience to Zenith’s growing accounts department.
Zenith Energy Was 10!
2022 saw Zenith celebrate its 10th birthday. Founded by Martin Booth & Chris Collie in 2012, we have delivered over 130 projects for over 60 clients to date.
The team is currently delivering scopes for 9 clients in the UK, Ireland and Europe across CCUS, decommissioning, subsea development planning, feasibility study work, drilling advisory and specialist engineering personnel placement. 2023 sees a focus on expanding technical experience through a number of carbon capture and geothermal projects for several clients including net zero and green commitments.
Zenith Australia
7 years after its inception, which began with just one employee, Zenith Australia continues to go from strength to strength.
With over 30 projects for 15 clients to date, which have included specialist engineering study work to deepwater development campaigns, the Zenith Australia team has just seen its highest turnover month.
The team is currently delivering scopes for 10 clients including a long-term contract with a major operator.

Zenith Refresh
As we turned 10, it seemed timely to 'refresh' our logo. We didn't want to lose our existing identity but just add a fresh approach. Thanks to the team at Mearns & Gill who delivered exactly that! We are delighted to be working with local agency Mearns & Gill as our marketing partner who are also working on our marketing collateral, supporting event attendance and spreading news about our work via PR and digital marketing.
