Global Projects Update:

It has been a quarter of heavy activity in both planning and operations across the world. Here’s a snapshot of how we have supported our global clients in Q3:

  • Planning is well underway for a wells project offshore and onshore in Poland with our client Central European Petroleum with operations commencing in 2024.
  • Operations are underway in Morocco on a land well project for SDX Energy.
  • MD Martin Booth visited a well site in Tanzania where we are supporting an onshore helium drilling project.
  • We completed an extensive decommissioning engineering scope for a UK-based operator covering 26 platforms and 44 subsea wells. The Zenith team is now working on the next phase of decommissioning.
  • The team completed a carbon capture and well repurposing study for a major Japanese operator covering two fields and over 50 wells in Australia.

Making A Difference In The Communities In Which We Work:

We wrapped up a triumphant four-day football camp in Thiès, Senegal in partnership with Aberdeen Football Club, Aberdeen Football Community Trust, Gorée Offshore Engineering and Woodside Energy Senegal. The camp brought together more than sixty enthusiastic youngsters, both boys and girls, for an unforgettable football experience.

Martin Booth, Managing Director of Zenith Energy, and Chris Collie, Operations Director, joined the young footballers in Senegal, along with esteemed AFC coaches Brent Bruce and Paul Davidson. Over the course of the academy, the players displayed remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and dedication, honing their skills, and embracing the values of teamwork and sportsmanship.

A huge thank you to Aberdeen Football Club and Aberdeen Football Club Community Trust for supporting this project. Read more and view our gallery images here.

Sponsorships & Supporting Local Talent:

As part of our commitment to supporting local talent across a variety of sports, Team Zenith always strives to support local youth talent. This quarter we are delighted to support:

  • Family-run football team JS XI AFC by sponsoring its new match day strip for this season. The club was founded in 2010 and is named after the founders' late grandfathers. MD Martin Booth attended one of the team's recent games to formally present the new strip. The team recently progressed to the next round of the NOS Cup. Best of luck to Manager Barry Sim and the team for the rest of the season.
  • Local charity Befriend A Child – The team enjoyed a round of 4-ball golf at Newmachar Golf Club, on their Hawkshill Championship course, as Birdie sponsor of the charity’s annual golf outing.
  • Local dance artist Laura Booth in order for her to continue to deliver free 'Dance for Life' sessions at Clan Cancer Support. Starting at the end of August, the 75-minute dance sessions ran for eight consecutive weeks. Laura encourages release & joy through movement and no dance experience is required! The session can even be done seated & is open to all abilities & energy levels. We are delighted to support these fantastic sessions at CLAN House on Westburn Road to enable them to remain free of charge and to give the opportunity to all those affected by cancer - including friends and family – to access these.
  • Friends of Anchor – The team continues to support this amazing local charity via various team fundraising events. We are delighted to have fundraised/donated £20,000 in the last 12 months.

Our well wishes also go to Gregor McPherson, a local boxer who Zenith Energy is proud to continue to support. Gregor is currently out of action due to emergency surgery. We wish him a speedy recovery and know he will be back to his best very soon!
