The team is re-energised after the festive break and ready to tackle, support and manage a host of global well-management and consultancy projects this year. During our final quarter of 2023, we continued to secure new global projects with new clients, welcomed six new starts to the team, celebrated personal milestones, got stuck into some festive fundraising and even had dinner with Steve Clarke!

Global Projects Update
2023 was a record year for the Zenith Energy team. Here’s a roundup of our global client support as we ended Q4:
- Client CEP visited Zenith HQ in Aberdeen with colleagues arriving from Poland and Calgary. Planning is in the advanced stage for their wells projects offshore and onshore Poland with operations due to commence later this year.
- We secured a contract with India based JV company Adani Welspun Exploration Ltd (AWEL) to provide detailed drilling and completion well engineering scopes for 14 wells to be drilled offshore Mumbai.
- Continued to support a helium exploration project in Tanzania for our client Helium One.
- Completed operations in Morocco on a land well for SDX Energy. The well was successfully tested via a rigless well test spread at the end of 2023.
- We continued to support our UK operator clients including CNOOC (drilling, completions and P&A support) with whom we have recently completed the first phase of a 70+ well P&A assessment study.

We welcomed six new starts in Q4 who are working on various global projects and supporting our wider team. Welcome to Team Zenith!

Welcome To The World!
Charlotte O’Donnell, Senior Administrator, welcomed a daughter into the world, welcome Grace! We wish Charlotte all the best, enjoy your maternity leave.
Festive Fundraising
Befriend A Child
We were delighted to support local charity an our neighbours Befriend A Child with their Giving Tree Appeal. Zenith Energy was delighted to match the donations of staff, consultants and friends. Together we collectively smashed our target and raised £4,000 - thank you! 👏
As a result of the appeal, the charity raised £20,366 and donated 2,133 gifts, ensuring 160 local children received gifts to open on Christmas morning in addition to fun activities and experiences to look forward to in 2024.
Charlie House Big Build Ball
We had a wonderful time at the Zenith/Prodrill table at the Charlie House HQ ball.
The theme was Carnival and guests at the P&J Live danced the night away to fantastic entertainment with the request during the evening to "celebrate life"🥁🎈🎇
Our table, hosted by Recruitment Director Louise Wood, supported the charity with the purchase of two bricks for its #BigBuild appeal 🧱 as well as taking part in the table and handbag raffle, heads & tails and the tombola.
The event raised an incredible 🎉£105,000🎉 Congratulations to the charity, one step closer to having this vital building here in Aberdeen. So how can you help in 2024?

Events
OEUK Offshore Decommissioning Conference
Ewan and Chris attended the OEUK Offshore Decommissioning Conference at Fairmont St Andrews (20-22nd Nov) They had a great few days meeting existing and potential new clients and talking through how we can support their projects.
Dinner With Steve Clarke
After announcing the Scotland football squad on the 8th November, Manager Steve Clarke paid a visit to Aberdeen ⚽
Martin Booth and Chris Collie, along with guests, enjoyed an evening of football stories and laughs with Steve Clarke, which was hosted by Richard Gordon.
The event which raised funds for Friends of ANCHOR was organised by Alan McRae, the former SFA President. Steve Clarke and Richard Gordon generously gifted their time, The McGinty's Group donated dining at the Silver Darling Ltd and The Chester Hotel donated overnight accommodation for Steve.
